Speaking this month we have:
- Christopher LeBreton – Become an Earth Partner: BE the Change with Active Hope
A story of Love. Cycling the World to Connect Communities, and Inspire Action for an Environmentally Sustainable, Socially Just and Thriving World.
- Robin Ratchford – From Souk to Souk
In his book From Souk to Souk Robin Ratchford reflects on a series of unforgettable experiences across the Middle East. His innovative account of his colourful and atmospheric journeys shows us why the region has always caught the imagination of those who visit.
Drawing on some of the elements contained in From Souk to Souk, in his talk to Globetrotters Robin will set out a longer, more human perspective on the region. He will argue that we should be willing to take a different look at this fascinating but turbulent part of the world to which we are linked by both humanity and history.
Robin Ratchford has lived in six different countries and visited more than a hundred others. Travel, adventure and discovery are central themes in his life and a constant inspiration for his writing.
Born in the United Kingdom, Robin is currently based in Belgium, where he lives with his faithful companion Mortimer the Fox Terrier.
