My reason for belonging to Globetrotters is to share ideas and information about travel. Because of this I wanted to share the following info with all it’s members before it is too late.
My friend in Jakarta sent me the following link because he knew I was going to be travelling in Asia this summer. I bought 5 regional flights and only paid $65 for tax/airport fees.
I believe that any other member going there before Oct. 2006 would appreciate knowing about it. However, booking is required before Dec. 28, 2005. So, please view the sight ASAP and determine if this is something you can share with all the members so they have the chance to take advantage of this. Air Aisa’s page opens with a banner stating there are still 1,500,000 free seats. Booking Period: 7 – 28 December 2005 Travel Period: 7 February – 10 October 2006 Available for online & mobile booking only.
Air Asia services stinks!!
Take a piece of advice from an experienced never ever fly with Air Asia. If you pay a bit more, you will not be sorry, you will have a piece of mind, and your vacation will not be ruined.
Their guest supports are not very helpful. I finally have to hang up my phone, because I was getting sick and tired of hearing every minute that stupid repetitious messages, “Please hold you will be contacted to our sales agent asapâ€ÂÂ, and yet no one has ever come to the phone after been staying on the phone for more than an hour.
According to their policies, they say there will be a service charge for $75.00 for changing the flight schedule. Check this out, they not only don’t pay you for the airfare difference when the date happens to be cheaper than the original date you had purchased the airfare, but on the other hand they have the guts to ask you to pay for the difference on the date that is more expensive more than the original airfare. Does this sound sensible to you all? What do you think? Is this a day time robbery or what?? I am very surprised there is no intervention or monitoring from the governments from all over South-East countries on these improper fees Air Asia is charging their customers. Isn’t that there is some kind of consumer protection somewhere?
