London Meetings, Saturday, February 1, 2014

Speaking this month we have:

  1. Sarah Begum – “Amazon Souls” – Living with the Huaorani Tribe

In 2010, Sarah’s curiosity and thirst for adventure led to the greatest expedition of her life, becoming the youngest female Documentarian at 21 years of age to produce her first film in the Amazon Rainforest. There, Sarah lived with the Huaorani tribe, hunted with the warriors, gathered with the women and initiated into their existence to send their messages through her work.

With an interest in ancient civilizations, Sarah has since been exploring the world, embarking on adventures and working on various film and humanitarian projects. More information from Website: www.sarahbegum.tvFacebook: facebook.com/sarahbegumtv, Twitter: @Sarah_Begum

  2. Philip Beale – Madagascar is an amazing country but has its challenges – the do’s and don’ts of travel within Madagascar .

Phiilp Beale first visited Madagascar as part of the ground breaking Borobudur Ship Expedition in 2003 that took a double outrigger canoe from Indonesia to Madagascar (www.pioneerexpeditions.com) . as expedition leader he met the then President Marc Ravalomanana.

Today, many adventures later, his love of Madagascar is undiminished and his company (Pioneer Expeditions) sends many visitors there on an annual basis. He has many tips for those about to embark on a trip to Madagascar.
