Globetrotters in Chester

Some of you have been in touch about the Royal wedding and to ask if this Globetrotters meeting is still going ahead. It definitely is. Time: 1pm for 1:30pm and venue: The Chester Grosvenor Museum as usual.

  1. Dominique Schickele – Moscow and St Petersburg

    Dominique has been a member of Chester Globetrotters for many years and during that time has travelled extensively. This talk takes us to two major cities of the former Soviet Union now opening up more extensively to tourism.

  2. Colin Hales – Build a plane and fly around the world

    Colin Hales, an aeronautical engineer from Oxford explains how he built his own aircraft and tried to fly it around the world. In 2014 he set off west towards America , crossing the Atlantic Via Iceland , Greenland and Canada , then across America towards Alaska and Russia , he crossed Siberia and headed for Japan . See if he makes it all around the world!
